Paul Ricard test: Bianchi makes his Formula Renault 3.5 debut

Maranello, 13 March – Jules Bianchi today had his first day of testing at the Paul Ricard HTTT circuit at Le Castellet behind the wheel of the Tech 1 Racing team car with which he will compete in the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 Series.

The young Ferrari Driver Academy racer today carried out a programme aimed at acquiring data on the car’s behaviour and development. He completed a total of 45 laps with a fastest of 1.47.250.

The test will also take place tomorrow where Jules Bianchi will work on preparing for the first of the nine events in the series calendar. The championship will officially get under way on the weekend of May 5-6 at Alcaniz in Spain.
